Slithering away this weekend on the 18th of June 2011, from 11am – 14:00 pm there will be a reptile show that will give you a chance to interact and touch real live reptiles from the Jungle. The Workshop will give away the first 100 shoppers who come down to the Promotion stall a FREE!!!! photo to be taken out with a reptile of their choice.

A cowboy is not a cowboy without rodeo. Rodeo is not a rodeo without a cowboy. On the 25th of June a special rodeo show will be sprung to life, were all the cowboys can come out and try to tame a mechanical bull. It's the bulls and blood, dust and mud, and the roar of a Saturday crowd! Come down to The centre of the City with many free give aways. The Workshop Entertaining 3 Day Programme
The Workshop delivered a spectacular, entertaining 3 day programme on the 27th, 28th and 29th of May that enticed shoppers to celebrate elements that made them Proudly South African.
The Durban Divas ignited the programme to a great start on Friday, 27th May with their sweet, melodious voices that had the audience wanting more at every chance. One of the first themes from SA 031 was to explore South African Talent and the Divas did Exceptionally well to earn their place in many shopper's hearts'. On Saturday, 28th May, The Workshop got tongues wagging with our delicious Braai eating competition. Contestants were picked randomly from the crowd and asked to eat boerwors rolls within a limited period.
One of the focal points for the day was to showcase food that is uniquely South African. All leftover food was handed over to an NGO called Umthombo who are based in Durban, Umthombo focuses on empowering street children and aims to change the way that society perceives and treats them. As the weekend drew to a close on Sunday, the entertainment was not over before audiences were entertained and moved by the D & C Dance Group who interacted with the audience to do the Diski Dance and wowed the crowd with moves from different musical genres Hip hop, Kwaito, Pantsula and some Krumping.
